Description |
Dredging International Asia Pacific (DIAP) is part of the DEME (Dredging Environmental and Marine Engineering) group of companies. DIAP has been active in Singapore and the Asia Pacific region since 1987.
DIAP's core business is in dredging and land reclamation works. Other activities include offshore pipeline trenching and backfilling, landfall and outfall construction, directional drilling for pipeline crossings, underwater rock drilling and blasting, soft soil improvement, quay wall renovation; environmental techniques, waste management, shore protection and stone asphalt revetment works, etc.
In the Asia Pacific region, the company has undertaken major projects in Australia, China, Hong Kong, Macau, Malaysia, Myanmar, Papua New Guinea, Singapore, South Korea, Taiwan, Thailand and Vietnam.
DIAP invests considerably in research and development to achieve continuous improvements in both dredging technology and equipment. Together with DEME, it owns one of the most modern and productive dredging fleets in the world. DIAP's fleet includes more than 25 vessels ranging from trailing suction hopper dredgers, cutter suction dredgers and platforms, to pontoons, barges and workboats.
