| Description | EuroCham is pleased to launch the “Schuman Lecture Series” to promote Europe in Singapore and to commemorate the remarkable achievements of European integration since its modest beginnings in the European Coal and Steel Community in 1951. This annual event commencing 2009 will alternatively be celebrated with Singaporean and European dignities. On Monday 7th December 2009, EuroCham will kick off its first “Schuman Lecture” event with the Guest-of-Honour His Excellency Romano Prodi, former President of the European Commission (1999-2004), and former Prime Minister of Italy. This Gala Dinner is EuroCham’s most prestigious event of the year, gathering up to 400 guests comprising EU Ambassadors, Singaporean officials as well as top European business executives. Spouses/Partners are welcome to join this unique European event in Singapore. |
