| Description | We will have Mr. Dan Sims, Associate Director of Design for P&G, Internal Operations presenting:
“How Design and Design Thinking can make a company truly innovative”
Citing actual case studies and examples, Dan Sims, Associate Director of Design for P&G International Operations, will provide insights in how Design and Design Thinking is playing a key role in making P&G one of the most innovative companies in the world. The principles and keys to design thinking will be unveiled in a way that may change the way you think about the role of design.

Participation fee: BLBG members 40SGD / 50SGD non BLBG members, this includes a starter, a main and a dessert of the daily lunch special as well as waters, soft drinks, coffee or tea. Wines or beers are NOT included, if you wish it can be ordered and settled individually!

Profile of the speaker:
Dan Sims is currently the Associate Director of Design for Procter & Gamble supporting the markets in South East Asia and Korea. The Singapore based P&G Design Team manages design work for the region that includes Australia -New Zealand, A.S.E.A.N., India and Korea. (AAIK) The AAIK team leads the regional design efforts for some of P&G’s billion dollar brands that span multiple categories. Dan comes to P&G with twenty-three years of design experience in the auto industry.
He holds a Master’s Degree in Project Management from Keller Graduate School of Management, and a B.S. in Industrial Design from the University of Cincinnati, College of Design, Art, Architecture and Planning.
Born in Japan, Dan spent his childhood there. He is married and has two daughters. Hobbies include anything automotive, photography, and travel. |
